General Information

General Introduction

Depending on the Faculty of education, education at the undergraduate level is carried out since the 2016-2017 academic year. 1 Professor, 3 associate professors, 1 doctor faculty member and 1 lecturer are employed in our department.

Mission

Upon graduation from Turkish teacher education program, students are connected to contemporary education policies and procedures; capable of critical thinking and scientific; and advanced knowledge in relevant areas can use resources who can adapt to technological changes; attitudes, behaviours and attitudes can be grown as an example to the community with teachers who are targeted. Our teachers, who graduate with a researcher-educator identity profile, will serve our country, society and people in order to educate individuals who can communicate effectively, take Social Responsibility, assimilate national values, respect universal values, and have citizenship consciousness.

Vision

It is to educate individuals who use Turkish correctly, beautifully and effectively, who can express themselves, communicate, think scientifically, know their rights and responsibilities, who can be compatible with their environment, who can enjoy reading and learning, who use and produce information technologies.

Purpose

Physical Infrastructure

The Program continues its education by making use of classrooms and computer halls in the Department.

Technical Infrastructure

Students studying in the program benefit from the university library. They have the opportunity to participate in all activities that take place in the conference center and conference halls located within the University. In addition, students participate in sports activities, student clubs.

Basic Program Achievements

Employment Profiles Of Graduates

Graduates of the Department of Turkish education can be employed in various sectors such as the Ministry of National Education and its subsidiaries, State Archives, TRT and press publications, as well as in different institutions of the state.
